I thought this might be a good idea to learn some stuff. Some literary (not literal) translations of commong phrases

English: The pot calling the kettle black
Spanish: El muerto se rie del degollado

Spanish: El mundo es un pañuelo

Curiously, in Mexican Spanish we would say "el comal le dijo a la olla" (closer to the pot and kettle)

There is a Ghanaian proverb similar to the pot calling the kettle black: The warthog doesn't laugh at his mother's teeth (Do ba laara o ma niene)
