"I'm just browsing" auf deutsch

Wie sagt man "I'm just browing" auf deutsch? Wir gehen nächste Monat nach Bayern und Baden-Württemburg.

Als ich in München war (2004), besuchte ich zu "Betten Rid" und möchte eine Tischdecke gefunden. Die Verkauferin möchte mir helfen aber ich hätte kein Ähnung was ich wollte. Ich wollte nur die Tischdecke angeschaut. Ich laufe bessere ein, wenn ich kann mich Zeit haben. Die Verkauferin war sehr nett aber ich brauchte sonst kein Hilfe. Ich kann die Verkauferin fragen wenn ich fertig bin aber ob ich bin "just browsing" wie kann ich ihr das sagen?

Ich möchte mich (ein bisschen) umschauen.
Ich schaue nur.
Both sentences are standard German.
Ich gucke nur is more colloquial and not often heard in Bayern but people will understand you, too.

btw, i don't want to decourage you, but to make this german as written by a german person I would have to use other formulations all together for some of the text.

Thank you all for the suggestions and corrections; I appreciate it! I am still (obviously) struggling with German and decided to write my post "off the top of my head" without consulting my dictionary/textbook...oops. Thanks for suggestions on how to better construct my sentences!

Since we are correcting each other anyway, I'm sure mathilda is aware of this, bur decourage = discourage. ;)

what you are looking for is entmutigen (without any umlauts)
