i wonder if readers of this post could possibly watch this shorter than two minutes video, and provide their views on it.

I have watched it dozens of times and find it so funny - this is exactly what I find absolutely and totally funny.

i wonder if there is a particular word, and if so, what is that word/those words, that would describe the humour someone has, who finds this funny.

"Broad" is quite popular for describing comedy that makes use of very easy jokes - jocular foreign accents, innuendo, trousers falling down etc.

Was I watching the correct clip? the Golden girls? If there were no canned laughter would you know this was meant to be funny?

Pedantic perhaps, but this is SiT.

It's almost certainly not "canned laughter" but a laugh track recorded from the studio audience.

That sort of audience will laugh at anything. I didn't get it.


Learn to say 'Thank you' in the local language.
