Hello
This is not really a question of grammar, but I need to know the name of something. Possibly an Argentinian with some general history knowledge could help me out...
I saw this sculpture, done in modern concrete, on the front of an archaeological museum in La Paz, Bolivia. I am trying to identify the original design, so far withourt success. One book says it was a copper-bronze disc made by the Incas or pre-Incas and was found near Cobres in North west Argentina, but nothing more. Well, I wish I had the expertise to answer this question, but I do not. Have you tried soing some general net searching for museums or academic groups who study cultures from this area of the world? ...or, better, have you e-mailed the museum where you saw the replica?

Seems you need an anthopology/archaeology branch!

I have tried Google image search and asking every Argentine I know. If I dont find within a few weeks, I will try your suggestion!
By the way, the image and refrence to NW Argettina came from a decades-old article about Inca metallurgy in Scientific American.

Finally, I found some info. Its called the "Disco De Lafone Quevedo" from the Andalgalá culture...

If you want information in English, use this search "Lafone Quevedo" disk OR disc Use the quotes. The OR must be capitalized. Lots of information in Google Books, especially if you read Spanish.
