Permissum carni abyssi gradiare libre
Could it be - Permiss-i-um carni abyssi gradiare lib-e-r?
If so my interpretation would be something like 'Permissive carnality is the free passage to hell' - okay I know it sounds old-fashioned but my 12 years of Latin study ceased in the early 70's

Permissum carni abyssi gradiare libre
Side show barkers are allowed to toss grade books into deep crevices.

Long time since I studied latin. And I also question the on-line translation services which gave me:
"To allow executioner hell to conduct one's self scales".
Quite clearly total nonsense. Is it possible the original latin in misspelt or misquoted?

My friend has confessed he doesn't know Latin.
He was trying to be smart and used a website to translate - hence the gibberish.
That you all again.

And so we can turn this into a new game: What Did He Feed the Translator?
Hell, allow me to meat you so we can discuss this freely?
Meat is allowed in hell according to my gradebook?
May you burn in hell for making me look this up in a book?
(Since no one knows what gradiare is, we are free to insert whatever word seems fit, no?)
