"A fool and his money are soon parted"Interest forums / Speaking in Tongues
Of all the bizarre things I've ever run across on the internet, a neo-Nazi, anti-immgirant website in the U.S. has to take the cake. Besides the usual craziness, it has a Spanish language section (for those immigrants they hate?). The Nazis are also supporting a presidential candidate and ... in the U.S., that means asking people to donate money to his campaign. I wanted to write a small piece about this, and wanted to use the common English expression, "A fool and his money are soon parted" in Spanish. I can say it in formal, schoolbook Spanish, but is there a nice, idiomatic way of saying this?
Thomas Tusser might say that the best Nazis ARE Spanish speaking? | 1
PM palindroma, Rich. If anyone will know, particularly in Mexican Spanish, she will. Ask her to respond on the forum, though, I'd bet a bunch of us would like to know the answer to that question. | 2
