Diemie, where are you from? If from any european country you should rent the RV via an european provider/travel agency. There you'll get much cheaper prices (esp. if you rent via Germany) and you'll get much better insurance.
Maybe apply for the newsletter of all providers, so you have the information about special offers very early.

As for May and June: if you want to visit the Nationalparks you'll have to book all campsites fare in advance. Otherwise you'll have no chance. Each Nationalpark has a booking-window and just a few minutes after opening of that window all campsites are booked and you have to wait for a cancellation later.

in answer to # 8:

Hi diemie, I don't know if it is allowed to give a link here. Therefore I write it without link:
We always book via Transamerika-Reisen (de). But there are other preoviders, like CU-Camper, ADAC, USA-Reisen (de) and much more. If you apply for the newsletter of this travel agencies, you'll get special offers very early. And you can see the floor plan of the RV's on their website.

Yes, May and June is already main season in the nationalparks in Utah. So early planing is a good idea. If you have a itinerary you can wright it here or give me a PN. Than I can see where the problems are.

Do you understand german? If yes I'd know a special forum about RV-ing in USA.

The WWF article is from June 20, 2019. You find it on the German WWF website. Details about the project in English here.

They write that they tricked the other logging companies by founding an own company which applied for a concession, which they now use to resurrect the ecosystem. The big Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) lost the race for the lot and now can't clear it to grow fiber wood.
