Hi we are New Zealanders flying Interject Mexico City to Havanna. Are we able to get a tourist visa for Cuba at Mexico City airport? Your help with this would be appreciated. Thank you

I bought a tourist card from Interjet in Mexico City airport - I understand that they also sell them in Cancun.

Does anyone know if it's possible to checkin online before and do a bag drop for interjet in Mexico City?

Maybe to avoid bankruptcy?

Made me think of some years back when I flew Mexicana from MEX to TGZ for $18 US. I thought, 'how can they afford to do this?' Just a couple years later they filed for bankruptcy. Adios, Interjet. Nice flying with you.

I am loosing 3 inland flights as well. 2 with Aeromar, I just don`t show up, they are cheap, and Interjet just offered a voucher for their flight Merida - MEX on 25.04. I don't know for how long this voucher will be valid - next year? I can't find it out on their website. But all in all it is not a trouble loss and during this times I don't expect much.
Thinking about coming next year to Mexiko... I would like to do so but... I'm thinking about security - after a season without income, even more unemployer... maybe better wait till 2022?

I've booked a flight from Cabo to Mexico City on volaris arriving at 4:56pm. I'm wondering if that would give me enough time to get to an Interjet flight to BJX leaving at 7:30pm. I would have checked luggage to pickup & recheck. It is possible to take the safer route with another volaris flight to bjx at 9:47, but it would be nice to get in earlier if it would be possible. Would that be unrealistic for two national flights but for different airlines with approximately 2 hours between?

Thanks!

I’m in Mexico City right now waiting for my flight to Vancouver on Tuesday morning with Air Canada. Westjet has stopped all flights to/from Mexico and Interjet is stopping on the 24th. Air Cañada says they’re stopping on the 29th. A week ago they were all running.

I know that’s not Europe to Mexico, but the point is, like other people have said, things are changing very quickly. Mexico is likely to get hammered with the virus in the next weeks so if I were you I’d get back here ASAP if you don’t want to get stuck.

Not only Aeromar, but VivaAerobus and Interjet also serve PE from Mexico City, but the OP is planning on going to PE from Oaxaca, not MEX.

I have been flying into Mexico for the last 10 years and have never...not even once...bought a round trip ticket...and have never...never...been asked by Mexican immigration or American airline personnel for proof of return flight.....and this is coming from someone who has been flying in and out of Mexico from the US two to four times a year....and from someone who was deported from Mexico in 2011 for an expired tourist card, expelled for one year as punishment, and still, when I did return, they still never asked me for proof of a return flight. I have flown into Mexico using Southwest, Delta and Interjet without nary a problem!
