A very long way from Marrakesh anyway, no direct connection by public transport. Have you got a lot of time ? Otherwise you can visit an cross the Atlas mountains much closer.

Hi all,
Going on my first trip to Cyprus alone for 12 days starting 7 October in Larnaca. Will travel by public transport via Aya Napa, Nicosia, Troodos, Limassol and Paphos. Keen to meet any other travellers, or perhaps someone with a car to go share costs and reach more out of the way places.
Feel free to reply if you're in the country at the same time and might be up for meeting
Cheers,
Hitesh

Arezzo is a very pleasant town, but there's not as much to see as in Lucca. I think you might struggle to fill full a day there.

Can you tell us about your transport plans? Will you hire a car, or will you stick to public transport?

And do you know your arrival airport yet?

It probably is a long trip.

But Semuc to Palenque by public transport is 2 days with a night in Sayaxche then add another day Palenque to San Cristobal.

Hello. I'm heading to Marrakesh this weekend and want to cross the Atlas visiting Agoudal. Id like to finish in the fringe area of the Sahara where the tourist camps are. I saw an episode of actesvel program where a biker took highways R704 and R707 to get there. Has anyone done this or visited Agoudal via another route? Any tour available, public transport or shared taxi? Any advice, experiences or ideas welcome. Thx. I have time but prefer a liver budget to do this.

Hi all. Heading to Tajikistan at the end of the month and was wondering if there are any places in Dushanbe that will do day tours out to Nurek and/or Hisar.
Also - how is getting to Lake IskanderKul to stay overnight there from the capital? and then getting away to Khojand the next day by public transport. Is it possible independently?

Finally, my Tajik evisa just has a black shadow/outline on it of a person but not my photo... is that normal??

thanks in advance

regards

Andrew

A realistic day trip from Yerevan can be a mix of Noravank and Khor Virap. You can visit both in a single day by public or shared transports but you will start by Noravank by using a transport on the way to Yeghegnadzor.
You have two options.
The first one is to leave the vehicle at the junction with the road to Noravank if you are agree to walk 8km one way. Hitchhike is an option.
The second one is to use a taxi to Noravank from Yeghegnadzor.
After Noravank, you will use a shared/public transport to Yerevan until the junction to Khor Virap. Not far away from the main road.
You will coming back to the capital city after your visit.
Try to start "early".

Hi all!
Husband and I are traveling to Costa Rica with our two young kids in a few weeks and I have some logisitics questions for those of you seasoned Costa Rica travelers! Note that we are looking to do things relatively easy and safe since we have young kids (we're no longer the budget friendly backpackers :).

  1. We'd like to get from Manuel Antonio to Tortugero and then spend 2 days in Tortugero before heading to Puerto Viejo area. What is the easiest and best way to get from MA to Tortugero? And from Tortugero down to PV?

  2. We were going to rent a car (starting at Monteverde so that we could get from Monteverde to Man Antonio and then Tortugero down to PV) but would this be a bad idea given rainy season and given that travel on Carribean side may be by boat?

  3. Where would you stay in PV area? I've read to definitely see Cahuita but would it be better to stay in Cahuita or south of PV (like Manzanillo)? We only have 2 nights in the area.

  4. Best way to get back from PV to SJO?

Thanks so very much to all that took the time to read and hopefully respond!

Olá !
Was anybody going from São Luis to Santo Amaro (Lençóis Maranhenses) by public transport recently ? I heard there are vans going this way directly from São Luis. Where can I find these vans in São Luis ? Any telefone number / name of drivers/companies ?
Thanks for help in advance.

You have a good network of public and shared transports. It's not a problem to move around the country with them. Kids are not a "problem" to use them. You can use them without stress with your kids.
