Take a look at Bocas del Toros, it's close by, 3-4 hours. Check in PV if the waves are happening. Talked to some surfers who were having a good time, this was late November.
It's a fun trip, bus-boat and fun Islands.
Easy border crossing but check around town over the onward ticket stuff, think there's a travel place in town that provides transport to Bocas and the onward ticket stuff.
"Your onward flight to Turkey satisfies the need to show how you will leave the country."......if it is separately ticketed from the onward flight to Tel Aviv. I know nothing of the Iranian requirements for a VOA, but if one of them is showing how you plan to leave Iran, then the flight to Tel Aviv must not be on the same e-ticket you show them for your flight to Turkey.
Also a law is empty if its not put into practice - such as the onward ticket laws - if you arrive without visa you are supposed to have onward ticket out , yet in the normal course of events this law is not enforced . So even if they did actually mean any length of unreported overstay will attract blacklisting what confidence can we have that this will be implemented when our friend from Sadao said from the get-go they won't enforce it like that ? .
HM Customs at Heathrow are likely to ask you a number of questions regarding purpose and length of stay. You will only be given up to 90 days in the UK so unless you can show you have means to move to from the UK (i.e. an onward ticket to outside the UK) you are at risk of being denied entry. So make sure you have purchased an onward ticket e.g. with ryanair, ba or someone.
The expiry of your passport appears to not be an issue based on IATA (and therefore with the airline). http://www.iatatrav…
NZ has a requirement of onward ticket to a country you have right if entry. Leaving NZ for Thailand, only Thai Airways flies direct and they have in the past wanted either a visa or onward ticket within 30 days at check in. And I do know Qantas has also asked for either. If you fly other airlines that have stops another countries (Singapore or Malaysia) you should be okay.
Hi,
I have a question. I am German and currently in the US on ESTA, which will finish on September 28th. I wanna go to Mexico afterwards with a ticket to Cancun and additionally I have a ticket from Mexico to Guatemala in February.
Now in the ESTA regulations it says:
VWP Conditions:
You may travel visa free if you meet all of the following requirements:
Your intended stay in the US does not exceed 90 days.
You must hold a valid return or onward ticket. Onward tickets may not end in Canada…
Here is an account from 2012: My wife, brother-in-law and I were doing a long tour of Guatemala and southern Mexico by common carrier. We were in Palenque using the ADO bus firm for our onward travel. The firm had a problem with the local people over an accident where a child had been injured by an ADO bus, the family was seeking compensation, the locals were picketing the depo. No onward 1st class buses. We were going to Xpujil to see something of the Rio Bec region. We had to take a second…
Hi walks_by_arif,
Thanks for the info about staying in the transit area. Our Canada-India and India-Nepal tickets are booked separately, and luggage has to be collected and re-checked in Delhi. Thanks to user lifesupport, I know that Air Canada and Jet Airways have an interline agreement, so they should be able to transfer the luggage from one airline to the other. I've tried speaking with Air Canada, but they are unhelpful (as all airline employees are).
I've found another travellers experience…
In March we are travelling to Sri Lanka then moving on to India, we will have proof of onward travel from Nepal to Vietnam but no exit ticket from Sri Lanka because we are unsure of how long we'll stay (likely to only be 1 week, but we don't want to be confined to certain dates). Will this ticket from Nepal as well as our itinerary and plans be enough proof or will we have to buy a ticket out of Sri Lanka before we travel there? I've read about people being denied birding because they have no…
Oh i wish I could have read you before Yankee5, their plane ticket are half price of the ones I found last week. Oh well.
You have an idea for my visa question just the message before (about return ticket from outside of Myanmar)?
It's no problem at all, in terms of the destination of your onwards ticket. I've arrived in Yangon many times from one country in Asia and then departed to a different country altogether. Infact my last few trips to Myanmar, I didn't even have an onwards ticket and…
