Jim,
Nice advert but try not to be so obvious next time.
September on Samui (aka "Murder on the Orient express") can be overcast and pissing with rain daily, or beautiful clear skys and lovely beach lounging. Or more commonly, a combination of both appearing randomly. I've been on Samui twice during September on different years, and found this. It really can't be pinned down in black and white. Our world weather of recent years, shows this really. You'll be enjoying the sun on Samui for 10 days, and one morning wake up to find the sun is no longer…
When i was last in Samui ,about 3 years ago ,there was a big boxing stadium in the Cheweng area .Also they had a less professional ring in the main beer bar complex at Lami beach.
Hi,
Would anyone have any suggestions for Hen Party in Samui? The wedding is there so looking for some ideas. Party will be of all ages so need to get something to suit everyone, not just a pub crawl, can do that later in the night.
Thanks
Hi! :)
We are travelling next week to Thailand. Tomorrow we need to decide where we are going. We heard that the rainy season in Phuket is sept. and oct., and in Koh Samui oct. and nov.
Can somebody give us some information about the weather? And also, which island is prettier (prettier beaches and nature). Thank you!

If you look at weather sites like AccuWeather and Wunderground you can find an amazing amount of historical info.
You can get daily even hourly reports for past years and averages. Daily sunshine hours is often a useful indicator
If you really want to know then dig in.
We agree but we're talking cross-purposes too - yesterday the fare I quoted was Air Asia from Johor Bahru-KUL-Surat Thani. Just this minute ago those two flights were 89 + 172 = 261 Ringgit, or around £49. It's gone up 10% since yesterday. Tomorrow it will be dearer again - or not there at all. Has to bethe first flight out of JHB or the connection in KUL would fail.
Point is, I agree with you - it's the quickest least stressful way for not a lot of money.
