Hey guys, I need your advice. I wanna go to the south around the middle of July. But the problem is I cant decide whether i should go to Koh Samui or Phuket. I've been to Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Tao, Koh Phi Phi but not those two. I kinda want to go back to Krabi and Koh Phi Phi and may visit Phuket as well. But i think its the rainy season there in July so yeh maybe i should go to Koh Samui instead? What do you think?
Cheers :)
There is a Thai language school in Chaweng and I have heard about a private tutor in Hua Thanon (near Lamai), but I don't know anuthing in Lamai itself.
you travelling high or low season? there are a gazillion places along the beach, the further south you go the better the swimming as it's quite rocky and shallow in the northern parts of the beach.
As far as I know, the last Raja ferry is at 18:00 and the last Seatran one is at 19:00. You should be able to make one of those if your train is not too late, which is a big if, unfortunately. Sometimes a ferry will wait if a big trainload of people are delayed. But sometimes they don't or can't.

Actually, that is not one of the things to worry about when selecting somewhere to stay. You will have the choice of hundreds of places to eat at.
Places to the south are pretty quiet, or were when I used to go there many years ago.

Hi All,
I'm interested in recommendations for really good tailors for wedding dresses in Koh Samui. Also, what's the average prices for wedding dresses to be made and the duration???
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Hi,
Does anyone know where the state of origin is likely to be shown tonight - ideally in Chaweng - any aussie pubs or sports pubs?
Thanks!
I trained for a month at the Muay Thai camp at Lamai Beach the south end of the village where the road swings back to the main loop road. I can't remember the name and have lost the business card. An Austrailian boxer owns and runs the place.
If anyone living or visiting Koh Samui, Lamai Beach can get their website and let me know I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Tom
