I found the shortest flight from Iguazu Falls (Brazil) to Cusco via Santa Cruz (Bolivia).
It's only a 6h 40 min flight (incl. 3-hours layover at Santa Cruz airport).
This is a small Bolivian airline, called "Amaszonas". I was wondering if anybody took this flight before and if Amaszonas is a reliable airline (late or cancelled flights etc.)
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Hi!

We are a couple with two kids (3 and 1 years old) and we are going in a 2 weeks trip to Dubrovnik and Montenegro in the begining of june.

We will fly to Dubrovnik and we will stay there for 3 complete days and then rent a car and drive to Montenegro:

2 nights in Tivat - we are planning to see Perast in our way from Dubrovnik, spend one complete day in kotor and see something more in the surroundings;
2 nights in Zabljak - we want to go to durmitor park for 1 or 2 days (may be to do a short hike? are there easy and short cycling routes we could do with the kids?)

2 nights in Podgorica - to spend one complete day visiting Podgorica
3 nights in Budva - visiting Skadar lake on our way from Podgorica, sightseeing Budva and exploring the surroundings (may be Jaz beach to relax? are there good places for snorkeling in the surroundings?)
After that we return to Dubrovnik and fly back home from there.

We like nature (hiking, cycling, snorkeling). We are a little limited because of the kids but still we would like to do some outdoor activities(short and calm)...
Any suggestions?
Which places should we not miss?
I would like to know your opinion about our plans.

Also... Is it easy to rent a car in dubrovnik and drive to montenegro or do we have any restrictions? Any rent a car suggestions?

thank you very much

Hi there.

I'll be heading to Mexico City March 9 and I wanted to see if anyone knew of inexpensive ways to get from CDMX to surrounding towns. I've been to Mexico City and have traveled by bus fairly cheaply, but I never know if I'm getting the best deal. I'm a student and I don't have much money to spend but I'd like to see as much of this beautiful country as I can. I'm planning a day trip from CDMX to Cuernavaca, hang out there and head to Tepoztlán to see the pyramid. Online, CDMX > Cuernavaca is like $640 pesos roundtrip. Is that the amount you would spend? Are there cheaper options locally?

Thank you in advance.

In preparation for our trip in May, I'm looking for a readable (non-scientific) book(s) about the wildlife, plantlike, insects, birds, etc. in Sumatra. Anyone have suggestions? I'm also looking for something - book or good website - about Batak people, especially around Danau Toba. Always appreciate any input.

People are avoiding the San Francisco Chinatown because of the Coronavirus. This is negatively affecting tourism in that neighborhood. It is probably happening in other Chinatowns on the West Coast and NYC. I really doubt if there is more of a risk of contacting the virus in Chinatowns than other places.
