Yes its great but its some kind of acid I think We were geting it done on Phi Phi and the woman spilt it on her leg big panick to get it cleaned off ASAP.
If you get one of the cutter blades they use a soak in hot soapy water gets the same results just takes a little longer
I am with losing_touch on that one. You should be able to get at least 4 hours on that hotel bed and I would choose that. Otherwise, bring a therma-rest to lay out on the floor and a cable lock to lock your bags (and bags locked shut) to an airport chair. Maybe you can get some rest at the airport.

My friends and I are staying in Koh Tao and have to get from there to Koh Samui to fly out at 11.30am, however there are no boats that leave Koh Tao before 9.30 and get to Samui at 11.30 (which is obviously too late). I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the ferries/boats between these islands. Are there any private boats that go that far, to Samui? Or any other tips or ideas for what we can do? Thanks so much in advance!

Probably yes. Monsoon season inside the Gulf of Thailand usually runs September-January (with the wettest months usually October/November) so statistically you run a higher risk of rain.
