Hi as a couple, we are heading to Costa Rica end of April for 2 weeks :D exciting!!
We would be aiming to head straight to La Fortuna from the airport for 2-3 nights - Walks, visit Volcano and hot springs.
Then doing the drive around the lagoon to Monteverde or taxi boat taxi (if we decide not to hire car) and spending 2 nights here for zip-lining, canopy walks, clouds forests.
Next on our trip, we were considering the Nicoya peninsula, mainly Santa Teresa, Mal Pais and Montezuma and spending 3-4 nights relaxing/exploring this region.
Before our final stop at Parque Nacional Corovado for 4-5 nights - We are planning to drive and drop our car at Uvita and head to Sierpe to get the riverboat to Drake Bay for Wildlife, beaches and hiking.. Before finally catching a flight back to San Jose from Drake bay airport.

Any suggestions, on interesting places to visit, along the way?
What is the driving condition like form Montezuma to Uvita like, roads passable in end April/Early May? - Any alternatives?
Suggestions of places to stay or things to see in Parque Nacional Corovado/Drake bay?
Best places to visit coffee plantations near Arenal?

Thanks

Hello,
Could anyone please confirm 100% that visas for uk nationals are now available at the airport and all land borders.
I have read online somewhere that this is the case.
We will be crossing from Liberia to Sierra Leone at the Bo Waterside land crossing.
Only i called the Sierra Leone embassy this morning and they claim to know nothing about visas on arrival.
Thank you

Adventures meeting the tribes of the Omo valley, Ethiopia. The Mursi with their huge lip plates, the Karo with their faces painted with dots are their hair adorned with sweet corn and the Hamer with their jumping of the bulls. Imagine a place where average life expectancy is 42,for women and 38 for men. Also the effect of tourism on the tribes

Hi all,

Just being living in Japan and looking to fly via Mongolia to Almaty and from there travel through Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan Turkmenistan and across ending in Georgia. Realised the easiest way to do this would be with a car. Is this possible without being a resident of Khazakstan? Furthermore if anyone could offer any alternatives if it’s not I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hi,
in Septemeber 2020, I will visit Glasgow and Cambridge for a few days (due to my work). I will have 6 free days in I between and I would like to see the Scotland a little bit. I prefer nature and hiking and my plan is to go from Glasgow to Isle of Skye, do some trekking, then continue to Inverness, see the city and from Inverses to Aberdeen and Cairngorms NP. And my dilemma is whether to spend two days in Skye and one day in Cairngorms, or two days in Cairngorms (maybe with two-days long trek with overnight in the park?). The third option is to exclude Aberdeen and focus solely at Skye and Cairngorms. What are your recommendations?
Thank you

Hello everyone,

I am travelling to Bali with my partner in April for 14 days. Getting very confused about the places we should visit and how to spread our days across this beautiful island. TBH, I have had quite a bit of information overload from my friends, colleagues and of course, the 'Google God'.
Things we are looking forward to doing is cover some of the most popular tourist spots such as Monkey Forest, a
few temples(Campuan, Uluwatu etc.), visit art museums, hiking/trekking (Mt. Batur sunrise trek tops the list), shopping and a bit of snorkelling. If time permits, we would also like to visit the Sekumpul waterfall(maybe? )

Like every other tourist, we would love to visit Ubud, Kuta, Nusa Dua and Seminyak. Can you guys help me with the following questions:
1. What do you guys think my itinerary should be based on our places of interest/things-to-do?
2. How many days should I spend in each of these places?
3. Should I visit Nusa Lembongan as well or is Nusa Penida better?
4. Also, is Sanur a good place to visit?
5. Are there any hidden gems that you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Cheers!
Sona :)

Travelling south from Brazzaville to Pointe Noire road excellent open terrain with small hills.Six hours you must pass over a massive Ridge twisting and turning covered in thick forest with huge trees then down other side. This takes several hours but good scenery. Eventually road level again to Pointe Noire, the city seems to stretch forever. If on Ocean du Nord bus there are four stations, get off last stop, taxi 1000 xcfa to center. Hotel Sueco good, clean 10000 cfa.Walk to local beach La Cote Savage. Follow main street turn left at old train station. Lots of street food stalls on back streets, beer 500 cfa.Wanted to go north on a day trip but taxi drivers all refused due to police check points demanding money .Bus return to Brazzaville 15000 cfa 9 hours.Next stop across to Congo Kinshasa today.

Hi friends,
I'm looking for a high-speed Catamaran for foot-passengers from Bari or south to Dubrovnik or Montenegro.
Don't want to take the overnight ferry option. Any tips please?
