I will be in Koh Samui in July. Will it be difficult to find accomodations in Chaweng Beach area without a reservation at this time of the year.
Does anyone have a website address for Chaweng Gardens? I believe this is the name of the place near the Green Mango. I have attempted to find one, with no luck so far. Has anyone stayed here recently?
Thanks
THanks for your posts but wouldnt you think it would be more appropriate to post something relevant.
Hi
We are planning a week on Koh samui in April. There are 8 adults and two children. We are looking for accomodation on the beach and would like to know which beach you would recomend. Has to be clean clear water with soft firm sand and not too deep to quick. Also nice clean comfy place to stay with pool hot and cold water and good food.
Thanks
definately motorbikes first :) Does anyone else have any experiences with Lamai Wanta? How about Sand Sea Resort on Lamai?
Hi all, I'm looking for good, centrally located accommodation in Chewang. Yes, will probably have a few drinks, so I'm looking for something around the 2000 baht range. I stayed down the south end last time and enjoyed it, but this time I thought i might try to get a little closer to everything. Would appreciate any recommendations.
Anyone else going to be there? I'm just going to be beach bummin' it for a couple weeks before I start a CELTA course to teach English in Thailand, and would love to know some people to meet up with! I'm a very laid back Californian, just wanna chill and have some fun....diving, drinking, and general shenanigans :p
Give me a shout if you want to meet up.....

Hi there. We (a couple in our 50s) are heading to Ko Samui for 3 weeks in August. The last time we went was 15 years ago with our kids. We stayed at Chaweng and from memory the water was shallow (April) and the beach was gorgeous :)
We like to move around a bit and were thinking of a few nights in each of the following - Chaweng, Lamai, Bo Phut and Fishermans Village, and Taling Ngam.
Do you think this is a good mix of areas ? What is your favourite spot ? On trip advisor it seems people are…
Hey,

We have planned out travels for 60 days so as it stands we will be travelling to koh samui and stay here from the 24th - 27th of December, then on to koh toa for a few days then to koh phangan for FMP.
Any advice would be appreciated
Hi all!
I will be arriving to Bangkok on August 16th and want to head first to Koh Samui for 6 or 7 days. I´ve been looking into the different options for getting there, and I´d like to ask for advice.
First of all, I´d like to ask if it´s better for me to by separately the round-trip flight ticket to Surat Thani and then buy the ferry tickets once I´m there, or if I should go for a package: I found this company but there schedules seems to be very restrictive http://www.lomprayah.com.... I´d…
