Hey there, anything fun and chilled out going on for Winter Solstice tonite in Cancun or worth checking out (does not have to be a raging party), just looking at the moon and some music
Thnaks!

Wondering if anyone knows something about doing huayhuash Circuit alone ?

We will do a sunrise boat ride with him, then walking tours during the day, and wrap up on a sunset boat for Aarti.
That's a really long day - go at your pace.
And yes, that is the golden temple I referred to. Is it worth the long lines to enter or is the ambiance around the temple enough? I don't love the idea of needing my passport to get in to the temple.
I will say that if you're doing a whole day tour, you can almost certainly include the Kashi Viswanath Temple during that. As a foreigner, you won't have to deal with the long lines. As for the passport question - you won't get in without it. You also won't get in with cameras, phones, electronic watches, handbags (purses) ...
As for the "is it worth it" question ...it's difficult to offer advice about this. What is "worth it" to you? I have also taken darshan at two of the other Jyotirlinga temples, and my ultimate conclusion is that it isn’t much of a visitor experience, however a sociologist or theologian or anthropologist might be rewarded, and the faithful certainly are. In other words, your visit might be something to observe, rather than an immersive, 'meaningful' experience. Maybe I like my devotion fervent; not fevered. If you are secretly hoping for some kind of mystical, transcedent experience you are going to the wrong temple. I could be tempting fate - Shiva moves in myserious ways. That said, you won't see anything else like it on your trip, so you may as well go - especially if you can incorporate it into your tour day.
