Hi Everyone,
I am planning to visit Iceland in the month of January (around 16th Jan). My main target is the northern lights and also I would love to travel around the west and south of Iceland. As per my calculations, I should be done by 5 nights 6 days. However, I will be travelling solo and I found that it's not recommended to go on a solo self-driving trip during winter. So, I am wondering if anyone would dare enough to visit Iceland during that time. Also, it will be really helpful if anyone can give me some links for guided tour packages for that time.
Thanks.

Hi:
I already know all the rules/restrictions/costs about Bhutan and I will most likely be going alone. Are there any agencies that tend to attract solo travellers? I don't mind being added to a group of solo strangers and would prefer to avoid joining a squabbling family. Is there any agency that tends to attract singles, rather than groups?
I don't believe anyone looks solely at time and money. It's about the ability to make the sensible choice.
As for shitty connections, you can of course justify those to yourself as you wish. "Interesting characters", as we all know, are totally subjective and become even more interesting to those who are convinced they are saving money ;-)

Hello Sinchi! As a foreigner you can buy a car Argentina, it's not a problem, you can also talk with a local and "rent it" , i think the two options are good . Yo don't need a special driver's licence in South america. About crossing the borders i can't help you, but you can also get a good assurance for the car, there are many good assurance like Federacion Patronal, La nueva, etc.
If you are staying a couple of days in Buenos Aires don't miss the opportunity to spend a night in the countryside near BA to watch a fast paced polo match under the stars, with great food and wine. My reco will go to argentinapolonight.com
