Hey there,

thanks for your answers. It's not about the refund. It's about the fact, that we just asked to join another group two days later. There were plenty of people. Our tour should start with 7. And Uncle Sam's has about 5-7 people groups every day!!! So it would have been just easy for us to join another day.

They have a monopole like agenncy there. And they were just lying: about the salary of the tourguides and that they had to order a second tour guide "only for us" - which was simply not true.

Luckily we've heard from another couple - that they found a really nice alternative trekking agency not conected to uncle sams. though it was not easy in this low season time.

Uncle sams grew too big - and business is overwhelming the nice kinds of the people there....the persons in this company are liars - and the don't give good salary to the people who deserve it.

Yes - tour was 40.000 kyats per person for 2night/3 day trek. which is not a special low price in low season - as it is raining the whole day - and almost no tourists around....

It's just about taking care. And respect. Both we hadn't faced at Uncle Sams.
