2762 results for Chiang Mai hostels guesthouses

Am I going to totally miss the point if I stay by myself in an AirBnB for 5 days in Chiang Mai? It looks like I can get a lot of value (and solitude) for my budget (under $45 USD per night). Any recommendations on nice guest houses with aircon (and maybe a pool?)

Hello travellers! I'm having trouble choosing accomodation in SIem Reap. Can anyone recommend a quiet place, yet quite central? I'd rather avoid youth hostels with busy bars. Hotels, guesthouses and homestays are fine. Max price 20 dollars a night, but preferrably cheaper. Thanks!

They take a photo of us here in Chiang Mai when we do an extension in addition to the blue-background passport photo we must attach.

I was in Central Europe in 2017. I was there for 3 weeks. I think you have too many countries for a Month. I have had good luck finding Youth Hostels with www.hostelz.com. I am staying at a Hostel in Cape Town an the end of the month. I found it with hostelz. Make sure that you can get a full refund from the hostel if you change your plan. ALso contact the Hostel directly instead of using a booking service.
I cancelled 2 Youth Hostel reservations from Countries that I decided not to visit.

Yes, I checked the site and I only noticed about the chiang mai- luang prabang sched. :( Also the site is written almost in Thai, and I find it difficult to explore.

Bangkok-- Chiang Mai and Siem Reap is what my son did on as short a holiday as yours. Fly direct to CM and leave Bangkok to last. Check out Air Asia for budget flights.

  • enjoy a spa or beauty treament. A good thai massage can be wonderful. Your chances are probably best in Chiang Mai. For great and non expensive beauty treatments, Thailand is really fantastic. One place I really like is Shewa Spa (https://www.shewaspa.com/) in Banglampuu (in Bangkok).
  • night markets - for food, for atmosphere, for shopping and generally in my opinion fantastic. I really love the Sunday market in Chiang Mai, but there are of course many more

Hostels can be found for anything from £4-£10 per night.
If you eat street food and at local restuarants meals will cost >£5 always.
You can travel in between most places for £15 or less if you're willing to jump on sleeper buses and things :)
I traveled Asia for 4 months in total, and spent probably £1000 per month, but that wasn't being careful, and doing quite a few more expensive trips/excursions!
You will find Cambodia a lot cheaper than Thailand!

(Give Pai a try as well if you have time - above Chiang Mai in Thailand)! :)
