I live and work in Japan, and they do not have access to criminal records from other countries as Japan has strict privacy laws which prevent Japan from sharing criminal records about its citizens. You can enter Japan with a criminal record as long as you do NOT mention it on your landing card, as you will be asked on the back of the landing card if you have been "arrested/convicted of any crime in any country" and/or "deported from another country"...if you check "yes", then you will be pulled…
However, it may not always work.
On 2 January 2019, a website for the digital registration of foreigners staying in Belarus for more than five days went online. Until now the majority of foreign nationals have needed to visit a local Belarusian Citizenship and Migration Department office. The new initiative represents the latest successful step from the Belarusian authorities to simplify the entry and stay of foreign nationals in Belarus.
At the same time, some foreigners have already…
I already have a valid 3 year Russian visa. Would you say the best course of action is still to ask for another visa to check if i'm allowed in Russia? But the Visa agency will know I already have a visa and potentially ask for my passport to cancel the existing. And therefore see the 'No Entry' Belarussian stamp.
Thanks for your time.
- You may travel on yr current visa. If you're on the black list you will be denied entry to Russia.
- You may cancel yr current visa and apply for…
If you want to stay for six months, might as well get an METV, that way you don't need to obtain another visa, and have the flexibility to do a border run instead of the 1900 baht extension if you happen to stay near a border.
I disagree with previous poster, the requirements are pretty easy to comply with, and it offers a flexibility that SETV simply does not provide. As to the costs, it would save the price of the second visa + related costs and no worries about being denied that second TV…
Maybe because it would be breach of contract ? The visa is still valid, and I was promised unlimited 60 days stamps inside the validity of the visa.
There is no reason whatsoever to believe that someone would be denied the 60 days stamp when their visa is still valid for entry, be it on day 160 or on day 179.
Again, if they would do that, they are not delivering what they have sold, there is no other way to look at it. And considering the evidence asked for, I have no doubts whatsoever that…
I'm an American applying for a 6 month multiple entry visa for China. I will be traveling to Xianjiang from Beijing and leaving China via Sost, Pakistan. I have chosen a multiple entry just in case I need to come back that way for a flight home. I have read and been told that I should avoid any mention of Xianjiang as it will likely result in my visa application being denied. A few years ago when I applied for a special permit to travel to Tibet (which was approved) my already approved Chinese…
You may have already gotten one. It is pretty straight forward. I've gotten three in the past three years and each time it has taken about two to three weeks from the time I mail (from Dallas) all my paper work off. I was denied once when I went through the Consulate in Atlanta. Since then I've just applied with the Nigerian Embassy and it's been a breeze. Attach copies of hotel reservations, plane ticket, sufficient funds evidence and you'll be fine. Also it seems that whether you request…
But if the intent is to circumvent the 90 day or onward ticket requirement, is he actually following the rules?
The rules require a ticket to a destination not in 'North America.' A ticket to Central America departing within 90 days of entry would do this. The rules allow a trip elsewhere and a trip back to the US afterward, and there is no minimum requirement to be away from the US. Doing such would put the OP in the best position to return.
With that said, any official at the border can…
No problem.
We understand ignorance (we're all ignorant about some things). We just don't like laziness, and we especially don't like trolls.
Just FYI in case your travel plans are fluid. Israel does not deny entry based on where else you've been or what country's stamps you have in your passport (including other Middle Eastern countries). However, some Muslim countries (Syria and Lebanon for example) do bar entry if you have an Israeli stamp, or any other evidence of travel to Israel.
So…
I'm a single Australian female traveler heading to the Middle East again very soon. I'm starting off in Dubai and traveling to Kuwait, Oman, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel. For practicality reasons I'm leaving Israel till last after Jordan but my question is, because I'm going home via Israel (therefore holding an Israeli airfare ticket) I'm hoping that I when I go into Iran and Syria their Immigration authorities won't deny me entry into their countries as I'm pretty sure that you have…
