As noted by others, if your arrival flight is delayed then you're out of luck, although if the onward flight is on the same ticket the airline will put you on another flight.

AR (Aerolineas Retrasadas) used to be routinely late, especially on "non-tourist" routes, however in the last few years (with competition) they have improved a great deal, so I think that their poor reputation is no longer deserved. My personal experience - the average delay a decade or so ago was 46 minutes; the average…

I am only doing comparisons to shed light on this . I didn't do homework ,Flight Centre found the flights for me. But in any case Air Asia's flight prices don't seem all that different for my route. Its not a question of being right as I wasn't flying from the Gold Coast . There is no need to be defensive I am not disputing that your flights were not cheap. If you say Air Asia from the Gold Coast is the cheapest flight out I accept it.
By the way a good thing about Scoot airlines is that they…

There is no need to feel you must travel in a group. You will meet plenty of other solo travellers along the way, who may want to join you for a day trip, or a section of your trip. Everyone finds their own style and speed of travel, but moving on every day is pointless, as you have no chance to do or see anything much once you arrive, except find accommodation, and book an onward ticket for the next morning.

On a small budget, you would do better to select a few choice destinations, and spend…

I'm sure if you can show your onward ticket to Urgench, you'll be fine. Good job you haven't got checked luggage - that would definitely need a transit visa. Although bear in mind that if one flies Uzbekistan Airways, you can't check in online and would need to go to the check in desk.

I would honestly try and fly to Tashkent via Moscow - at least Moscow has 6 flights daily to Tashkent. Just bear in mind anything that happens falls squarely onto you and no one in Russia will care!

Just so you know, you can fly to Panama from USA, and out of another country, you need to have Onward Travel, meaning a flight out of Panama, in order to Check In for a flight into Panama....flying from country next door does not count...the Airline will enforce this upon Check In for your flight to Panama, having a ticket from CR will not make any difference.

That said, the key areas for nature on the caribe side would Manzanillo- Ganduca, Cahuita NP, and Tortuguero Canals and Rainforest. You…

Buses

We also booked all of our buses in-country via the guesthouses we stayed at. Often in Myanmar, transport tickets don't open up for bookings until 3 days or so before departure anyway. But can't speak for every company or situation. Just book your onward transportation when you arrive at each accommodation and you shouldn't have any problem.

If you're interested in what the buses themselves are like, we made a video of an overnight bus service we took a couple of months ago: https://www.youtube.

@magpac any border (including airport) you can get a VOA. Price is 50 USD for 1 month (extendable) but you have to show a hotel booked and maybe a onward ticket. I entered on 2015 by crossing borders from South Africa and the only thing they requested my friend is the payment (can be in Mozambique currency, rands or dollars) but be aware to have change because the woman in the border didn't have and she didn't give back the change to my friend. I got my visa at Mozambique consulate at…

From Day 12 onwards looks fine to me. The only change might be an extra night at San Ignacio if you can't join an ATM tour on the day you arrive. In this case, try to get to Caye Caulker as soon as possible after the ATM tour. Keep Ambergris in the itinerary -- there are a few hostels there if you're a low budget traveller.

You can also get a colectivo to Bacalar if the bus schedule does fit your schedule.

Airport buses leave from Playa every 30 minutes now. I buy my ticket 1 day before my…

Needing a confirmed ticket out of Thailand within 30 days for a visa exemption sn't necessarily a certainty. It very much depends on where you fly from and who with. Thailand Immigration are highly unlikely to ask. We had friends last year flew with Qatar and the question never came up at check in.
Proof of onward travel between countries is also unlikely. Having done those countries overland more than once the issue has never arisen. Plus we have never allowed ourselves to be scammed. Buy your…

Yeah, Panama has some strict controls. Specially arriving by plane, I got asked for a reservation in hostel/hotel, ticket onward, and even 500 dollars for my stay. But I've heard that they're way less strict arriving by boat in Portobelo.
Anyway carrying drugs on borders is a really bad idea...
By the way, if you're looking for sailboats to San Blas or Colombia, there's a travel agency called Panamore in Portobelo that arranges that. The owner is called Francesco and besides being helpful he knows…
