Depends where you are going in CR. Most taxi share from SJDS/Ometepe-San Jorge to Border. From Granada you can bus. Once at border, there are buses on CR side departing every 30 minutes to Liberia in daylight, which is 2 hours south. Liberia is a hub for the Pacific beaches, and getting to Central NW area like Rincon, Tenerio, Monteverde and Arenal areas.

Its best to get a early start for border crossings, so you can make bus connection before lunch in Liberia, as the frequency drops off huge…

Jetblue - so you buy your tourist card direct from them, at a cost of $50. Don't use the website that you linked as they charge more.

No-one knows yet when the new rules will come in to force, nor what the "auditing" that Trump mentioned will involce. You should have no problem if you use "support for the Cuban people".

Did you not buy a return ticket with Jetblue ? I not, note "Yes, it’s possible to book one-way travel via jetblue.com; however, during check-in, all visitors to Cuba must…

I think if you're new to this, and a bit nervous, then Oz and NZ would be good first stops. Maybe book so you get a layover in Dubai, if it's important to see the place, but it's probably not a good first destination on your own.

There are approximately 497 billion people going downunder in the next 12 months, and you will be on your own for approximately seven minutes after you arrive, assuming you don't meet anyone interesting on the flight or in the queue for the bus.

If you're not…

As above, you have absolutely nothing to worry about Thailand. I've traveled a lot using Bangkok as a hub, so I entered Thailand not twice, but 5-6 times within a couple months using the visa exemption and never even had a single question asked. I've also been to Thailand about 20 times with the visa exemption already and never with a visa. They are cracking down on people who live there on tourist visas, not people going in and out. If they do ask you, just show them your onward ticket and…

If its a one way ticket then you may have problems boarding if checked, since you need to have proof of onward travel within 90 days. If you have such proof or a return that you don't intend to use then you'll be fine getting into the country. You can leave via the land borders each 90 days and re-enter for a new visa but you could also just stay 9 months and gamble on them not noticing when you leave. If they catch you then it will be a fine of a few hundred bucks and possible a ban on…

If you mean that you will "be in Beijing for a week" before you travel onward to Xian, you'd certainly be able to get there without pre-booking tickets. However; if you want to travel by overnight sleeper, rather than a straight-through G train, you might have to move a little faster. Going on from Xian to Xining should also be technically possible as you'd be giving yourself a bit more time to buy in advance.

Going to Lhasa, however, is a different kettle of fish altogether and, if you don't…

Hi,

I was planning on travelling to Thailand for 2 weeks at the end of February before flying to Nepal for 1 month and eventually India for ~ 3 months.

I understand that in order to be granted a 6 month visa for India I must have an onward journey ticket.
My question is: am I able to purchase a flight back to Bangkok from India in order to fly home?
In other words, am I able to get another visa upon entry if I fly back after only 4 months?

I don't necessarily have to fly directly back to…

If you're landing in Bangkok then the obvious solution is to catch an onward domestic flight immediately. Your options are Phuket and Krabi as mentioned by #1 and Samui and Trat. Weather patterns vary on either side of the peninsula and are often opposing so your destination choice may or may not take current weather into account.

I would advise buying a Thai Airways International or Bangkok Airways ticket for your domestic hop as this enables you to check your luggage through to your final…
