I've found two recommendations so far (planning a trip in November).
Highland Tibet Tours
Fascinating Tibet
Check out Land of Snow website (I am waiting for them to reply to my inquiry)
Keep me posted, I'd love to hear what you find.

Hi,
I’m a Canadian living in Toronto and my ethnicity/background is Korean. My partner and I are planning to visit Guatemala. First off, I understand that racism/xenophobia shouldn’t be attributed/generalized to the entire population However, due to the gravity of the situation around the world in regards to the coronavirus (especially China/Korea/Japan) I am alittle worried about the possibility of xenophobia towards us by the locals/tourists due to our race during our travel. I live in a city where multiculturalism and acceptance is a key value within our community but there are growing number of xenophobia and social distancing these days so I am alittle worried about what it’s going to be in Guatemala. I just wanted to hear your opinion on what you would do if you were in my position?
Shikoku is much less visited by foreign travellers than other parts of Japan, has a smaller population and also economically it's struggling, so the infrastructure is relatively basic (no Shinkansen and none planned, for example). Buses for example may be more geared to local commuters and pupils/students than tourists, for example. So you need to plan more and use taxis where needed if you don't have your own transport.

Hello
I realise this is an unusual request and apologies if it contravenes community guidelines!
Many years ago I bought a cheap brown mao cap in Pingyao. It went everywhere with me for the next few years until, inevitably, I lost it forever. Since then I have been trying to track down the exact same hat with no luck.
So I now turn to the Thorn Tree community: I was wondering if anyone in Pingyao would be able to purchase 4 of these brown mao caps (size: 59) and post them to me in Australia? All purchase, postage and packing costs would of course be refunded, plus a "thank you" fee of US$50 (I can make payments via PayPal).
Again, I realise this is an unusual request but for years I have been frustrated with my failure to find an exact replacement, and always feel like a part of me is missing :-D
Please DM me if you are up for the task!
Thanks.

Okay so, let me start by saying I've booked a trip to London for next month. I was reading online today and saw all these horror stories of people getting denied entry at LHR, the real deal here is I'm almost 33, stay at home mom of 3 kids with a birthday later this month, my trip to the UK was a gift from my mother, I have a round trip ticket and an airbnb booked near chatham for a 1 week stay, I have about 1000.00 gbp plus 2 credit cards. I am worried about immigration questioning my finances if they ask about a job since I'm unemployed. I get money from my kids father paid by paypal or money i deposit into my bank account, I own my home so mortgage or anything like that. Someone mentioned having proof of this, a reason to return to the US but I'm not too sure what I could provide to do so, here is the taboo part, of course I'm going to visit and sight see but I'm also supposed to meet my boyfriend for the first time we've been dating about 7 months and I'm not sure if I should mention to immigration that I'm going to do so especially since...hes 18 lol I know it sounds terrible and I just imagine how sketchy it would sound to immigration, I've thought I would just tell them that I'm there for sightseeing and to meet with friends since he will be picking me up from the airport, I mean everything in my situation just sounds soooo sketchy! Even though its the truth I feel they may think its some kind of visa scam or even worse just find it creepy and deny me entry. I was also told they would question why I chose an area near Chatham since its not really a place people go to vacation or tourist spot, which I could easily explain if I tell them I'm meeting with a friend, I'm traveling alone, London is busy and expensive, and I'd really like to see more of the English countryside, London isn't far by train and would make for a great day trip but I don't really wanna be around the busy city as this is more of a getaway than a plan packed holiday. I'm just not sure what to do or say to immigration.

I will be traveling to Chile for two weeks in April. I have 5 days, including travel, to spend before heading off to Easter Island. My original plan was to head to San Pedro, mostly to do some stargazing, but now am wondering about the other two destinations. I have been to Salar de Uyuni, so besides the stars...Anyone have any opinions? I was in the Argentinian Patagonia last year, so really don't want to head to Torres del Paine, at least on this trip. Thanks
Hello. I would suggest the north-west coast. Starting from Trou-Aux-Biches going through Pereybere, Mon Choisy, Pointe aux Cannoniers, Grand Baie, Cap Malheureux, Calodyne to Grand Gaube. All these places are on a straight line going north. The area is as you are looking for. As for crowded beaches, Mauritius is small and we, Mauritians, love the beaches ! So you will better enjoy the beaches during week days. But then you will have a car and you can easily move around.
Flic-en-Flac is OK but its compact and the crowd is intense on the week-ends. But still you must visit. You should also not miss the Blue Bay Marine Park just a few kilometres from the airport.
Happy plannings !

I am planning to go on a guided land tour which focuses mainly on the above names places. I would like recommendations for the best time of year to go. I am considering either mid-to-late May or mid-September (May 10, May 17, May24, September 17, September 27). Please give me some thoughts about these dates? in May will it be too cool? Will flowers still be in bloom? What are the pros and cons of May or September? Thanks for your help.
