Hi guys! I am headed to southern Italy on Saturday, and I am looking for travelers in Naples to meet with and do a bit of touring of the area for a few days. I am American, and this is my first trip to Europe. I'd love to share the company of someone who is familiar with the area!
Please message me if interested. I have booked only the train ticket so far, so I'm quite flexible

The subject line pretty much sums it up. I want to use Norwegian Epic, sailing to Bridgetown, St. Lucia, Basseterre, Tortola and St. Thomas to find a good island to return to later, for a longer more leisurely visit. St. Lucia, the BVI, St. Kitts, Orangestad and St. Thomas were 5 places I have heard good things about so this cruise gets me to a lot of the places I want to go to. But it gets me to the larger ports instead of the smaller, quieter beach villages. So I will probably be hiring a car at each island and touring beaches and towns and AirBNB's for 3 or 4 hours on each island. The cruise isn't as much a vacation as it is a recon mission.
Is there a way to hire a car or use Uber that will keep the cost down while giving me a good view of different beaches, cafes and AirBNB's? Has anyone done this that would be willing to share their results? My perfect destination would be in finding a place that has a bit of quiet charm, a nice beach, good cafes and lacks the party crowd of todays Ko Phangan or the touristy feel of Santorini. I may be a tourist, but I prefer to be one of the few, not one of the many. But my main question is, has anyone found a way to explore a medium sized island efficiently in just a couple hours, with an emphasis on beaches, cafes and lodging in nearly equal weight?
My last really enjoyable trip was to Naxos, off season, and it was really cool because there weren't that many people there and the locals were very welcoming. Before that it was Ko Kut, again off season. Any ideas would be welcome!

Hi there. My husband and I are flying in and out of Bali and will have about three weeks to travel in early June. First time to Indonesia, not to Asia. We are most interested in experiencing the culture (particularly small tribal villages), followed by doing some good snorkeling and hikes. We do not like big crowds or beach party scenes. I was originally eyeing East Java, Bali and Flores but am now thinking this might be too much for just three weeks. I’m also intrigued by Tana Toraja in Sulawesi but am wondering if there is enough else to make it worth it to go to Sulawesi (what other highlights would you recommend?). And then what would we give up (Java and Flores since we have to fly into Bali anyway?) I’m seeking help planning a three week itinerary. I bought the Lonely Planet, but would love to hear from you. So, thank you!

Hello guys!
Im Japanese and I want to purchase second hand motorcycle in Kolkata in India.
Do someone have information?
Q.1 Can foreigners buy moto in Kolkata?
I know I can purchase motorcycle with some documents in New Delhi.
Some documents are below, passport, international driver license, 2 photos, and form 29 and 30.
In this way, we can get motorcycle with three documents, resistration card (RC), insurance, and emission card.
RC enables us to go across borders.
Q.2 Are there any big used motorcycle market in Kolkata?
In New Delhi, there is a big market called as Karol Bagh.
Q.3 Can I sell out the moto at Nepal?
I want to go to Kathmandu. Do you have some information of selling moto in Kathmandu?

Hello! I am planning a short trip to the Balkans next early May and I have to say I am struggling to choose what I will not have time to visit this time! I hope you can give me some ideas if I am missing something important or if I may choose a better route.
I am travelling with my wife, we enjoy spending some time in a town, hanging around and doing short trips, without too much changing hotels. We like scenic places (with not so much hiking), historical/religous sites and ancient buildings and also some "history time" (museums and walking tours, for instance). We plan to arrive by airplane in any city, rent a car and return it to the same airport at departure. This is my current plan:
2 days in Tirana
1 day: daytrip to Kruje, arriving to Kotor
3 days in Kotor (including 1 day as a daytrip to Budva)
1 day: road trip to Prizren, along Moraca river
2 days in Prizren
1 day: road trip, ferry boat Fierza-Koman, arriving at Ulcinj
2 days in Ulcinj or Bar
Last day, leave to Tirana airport
What do you think about this itinerary? We really want to visit Kotor and Kosovo, the rest of the itinerary is more flexible. Maybe I will have a couple more days available, but that's not certain yet. Some questions:
1- I badly wanted to visit Ohrid, however it doesn't seem to be close to my route! Do you think I should remove the ferry boat and Ulcinj/Bar and add Tetovo/Ohrid?
2- Should I choose Ulcinj, Bar or just some other place?
3- My wife is crazy about animals and feels very bad if she visits a place with street dogs/cats in bad conditions. Do you think I could have any issues with that in any of those places?
Thank you!

I seem to be full of questions as of late. One more. The girl I'm hosting in Havana claims that she is to
be charged 200 CUC to make the shared taxi trip Santiago-Havana, this due to a lack of fuel. I told her to stay
put till further notice. Does this fit into any rational calculation of the fare for that distance? There would
be at least 5 fare payers making the gross profit 1000 kooks. Has anyone made the trip in the last few days
by taxi? Is not Viazul running that trip?

A friend and I are heading to Spain early May for a full 9 days. We are trying to plan our itinerary and would love some help. We plan to arrive in Barcelona, and are thinking of ending in either Valencia (near/around) or Seville. We think probably at least 3 days in Barcelona, maybe 4, want to check out a few idyllic beach spots, but otherwise are not very sure what to do. We are very into hiking, and are considering some of the nature reserves near Tarragona, and also love wine, culture, and hot springs (Fontcalda and Balneario de Montanejos look amazing). We also like heading off the beaten tourist track and want to see the real Spain. Only caveat is that we will mostly be travelling by bus/train, however could rent a car for a day or two to pack in some amazing things that we otherwise couldn't access (like some fantastic hiking). Is Seville too much to add in? Or does 6 days between Barcelona and Valencia seem reasonable? I've also heard Costa Brava is gorgeous, should we not miss this? Anyone have some good info about transit and it's accessibility?
Thank you! - Kerry
