@sam.soemardi Thanks for the info, sounds definitely too expensive for me. I think we'll use a mix of motorbike and public transport. But thank you!

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if Spanish public transport in terms of arriving and departing on time? I have to get from Seville to Cordoba for some job interviews in the coming weeks and really really need to make sure that I am on time for these.

Can anyone say whether train or bus is the most reliable to get there? Also, if anyone knew the best website to book such transport, it would be much appreciated.

Gracias fellow nomads.

By the way - compare the situation in Puerto Rico, which was hit by a hurricane shortly after and where 1/3 of the country is still without electricity.

then normally I should be going to Puerto Natales (is it worth visiting and how many days?) then Punta Arenas then Torres del Paine.

Puerto Natales is the closest town to Torres del Paine. No need to go to Punta Arenas.

Torres del Paine is a jewel and I'd highly recommend it. However, you are best off staying in or near the park itself and do day hikes there. You will need your own transport to really get around though.

I’ve heard there’s not much public transport. People have said that they relied on group tours or hiring a car for a few days.

Just looking for someone with experience who has more info on this.

It will be better in my opinion.
I suppose you will move by public transports (and planes) and by security, it's always better to have some flexibility.

I don't know the current situation regarding the road but it remains better to start "early" and use a public transport from the "bus station".

I have the Costa Rica guide form Lonely Planet, but most decisions I´ve made were based on blog posts, forums, and comments.

I can see now how combining Sarapiqui with Puerto Viejo would have made sense, from a logistic pov. Another reason for me doing Caribe last though, was that this will probably the most relaxing part of my holidays. I wanted to do the chilling-out and relaxing at the beaches at the end. And anyways, I´ve already booked all accomodations already a few weeks ago, apart from one of the two lodges near Puerto Viejo that I´ve posted some days ago. I started panicking that things would get booked out as I´m travelling in high season.
