My wife and I are planning a trip to Ko Tao and Ko Pha-ngan and have 7 days 21st - 28th Feb 09. We would like some advice on a good split of time between the two islands and tips on the best places to get great snorkelling (if possible from shore) and also some suggestions re good accommodation hopefully with sea-views and a bit of life but not full on partying.
Kathrin would like somewhere that is a bit comfortable and is not looking to rough it so a nice romantic place with good…
My girlfriend and I will be in the islands Dec 26 thru Jan 3, so I am looking for any advice on where to spend New Years Eve. We want a party, but I am worried that the Full Moon Party will be a little too crazy. Should I be worried? Will Ko Samui have anything big going on?
Also, has anyone been to the Buffalo Fighting Festival on New Years Day in Ko Samui? Worth it?

Well, you don't have to reply to your own post. You can click 'watch this thread'. I can't speak about Krabi or Koh Tao. On Koh Phangan, there are tons of places in your budget. You aren't going to find them online. I highly recommend Cookies.
I have been In Thailand last February for two weeks. During my trip I explored Phi Phi island . The whole trip is excellent. I took the ordinary boat first day from Krab which is longer to be in the island but in my way back I took a speedy boats which saved my time. The places like Kaya Bay, Monkey beach are super to explore by Kayak or other small boats. if you need a good boat service contact Nay Lin Tun on Facebook. He is really nice

I´m going to have 6 full days in Thailand Gulf, how can i plan this trip?
I will arrive in Phuket and can depart from Phuket or Krabi to Bangkok, my first plan is:
1 day - Arrive around 1 a.m -This day just relax in Phuket and visit one beach
2 day - Dive tour to Similan from Phuket, entire day but i wanna do this.
3 day - Visit James Bond Island
4 day - Check out hostel/hotel, boat to PhiPhi and get overnight tour to Maya Bay
5 day - Check in in a hotel at Phi Phi after Maya Bay…
Just wondered if anyone could help by giving ideas from experience or reviews etc..

We are a family of 3, with a 15 yr old son who has obtained his AOW certification and loves reef diving. We plan to go to Thailand from April 30th - May 9th. From India, we are flying to Phuket viA Bangkok on 30th. Our plan is to go from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi Don, and stay there for around 5 nights. During those 4-5 days, our son will do a Scuba Review and around 3 fun dives/day, and we would love to go snorkelling, kayaking or on sunset/island cruises. After that we have 2 more nights…
