hi,
we're planning a three week trip to the islands in jan/feb. as part of this we want to do our PADI open water on phi phi. as we're on a tight schedule we were planning on pre booking before we get there. Is this advisable? have read not to bother but due to our short stay. . .
I'm looking at either blue view divers or the adventure club has anyone had any experiences with either of these companies? particulaly the adventure club, run by andrew hewitt, as they seem to have some good…
Hi,
I'm thinking of booking into Zeavola on Phi Phi for our honeymoon in December. The reviews sound amazing but I'm concerned that its a bit isolated. Anyone know whether there are local bars or restaurants outside of the big hotels up there? If not, is it possible to get back and for to Ton Sai Village for the odd night out?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Gareth.
anyone know the best way of getting to Phi Phi from the perhentians? i want to eliminate as much travelling time as possible as want to make the most of short trip.
Want to get to phi phi on the same day and avoid missing last ferry from Krabi or Phuket and having to waste a night.
was going to fly back to KL from Kota Baru and then onto phuket with air asia but the flight from KB to KL is at 8.30 am and i doubt i will get to the airport on time from Perhentian.
is there a night bus from the…
my family and I are traveling to thailand for the 3rd time next month. we stayed at the phi phi cabana resort before the tsunami in the summer of 2004. We booked a room at the resort this time around, but have not been able to find ANY info post tsunami in the way of reviews. This seems odd to me, we booked the hotel on sawadee.com and know its reputable. has anyone seen, or stayed at the hotel recently? is it still nice? open even?? any info appreciated.
cheers,
mike
Hi,
Any recent travellers to Phi phi?
Wondering about typical prices for basic bungalow type accommodation. Any other comments of interest would be appreciated and/or suggestions of other islands that offer relatively cheap accommodation for a 19 year old student in July.
Cheers,
hello everyone!!
myself and a friend are planning to go to thailand during high season and as such booking accomodation in advanced is helpful. were looking at spending 3 nights on phi phi island and would like suggestions of the best places to stay (nice guesthouses/cheap hotels). as we will only be 21 we are after the social interaction that come with a holiday ie. bars and meeting people etc, which beach on phi phi is best for that and accomodation??

Guys, I am off to Phi Phi on 31st apr from Bkk. Any suggestions on accommodation? I saw Phi Phi Hill quite a few times here... I am looking for a clean place on the beach, somewhere quiet and close to the night life at the same time... Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is it possible to get something below 1000 bahts? Also should I be asking for a room with AC or is Fan enough?
Cheers

IMHO, Long Beach the pick for an all round location.
Yep to all other questions except last - I mention some of these things here
Last March Long Beach Bungalows (I think - check above link) had 300 bungalows, cheaper than PP Hill's cheapest (400) and way cheaper than Paradise Pearl.
Thinking of staying here for a few nights with my GF. Has anyone stayed in any of their following accomodations: superior bungalow, deluxe bungalow or beach front studio?
What did you think of your experience?
My budget will probably only stretch to the superior bungalow but I would be interested to here from people who have stayed in the more expesive ones and if they thought it was worth it.
Where exactly is Loh Ba Gao (the resort location)?
Thanks.
