Hello! We will be in Krabi May 19th and we are looking for more people to share a speedboat to Ko Phi Phi, around 5:00pm we will be ready.
We are a party of 2, and the speedboat can take I think 8-12 something like that.

How long would it take to travel from Khao lak to Kho Phi Phi?
Im finishing my diving trip at around 3:30 in the afternoon in Khao lak, and actually need to be in Koh Phi Phi that night. I can obviously take a taxi to Phuket, but it seems like the last boat leaving from there to Phi Phi is at 3. Would I be able to still get there or should I rather go the next morning?Are there any other boats that leave later?

Travelling just for 10 days- it#s getting difficult, and the more you read, the more confused you get!

I have seen a few places available that I quite like the look of and are within our budget for accommodation, but was wondering whether there are still places that aren't on the internet that have accommodation (quite cheap) that you can just roll up to and stay the night, or is it pretty much only what's there on the net?

I am going to venture to Ko Phi Phi Don on my own the 2nd week of april....and I am going just before the rates drop , so I am still in the overpriced season...hopefully since I am in the tail end I will not have all the travelers..wishfull thinking I suspect. But I was hoping for some help on idea where to stay..I like the idea of Long beach, seems to get good feedback on quiet but not too far to get to. I Have read good things about Viking Resort but am having trobule reaching anyone by email…
I believe it is easier from Krabi. There are cheaper places to stay but probably not on the main beach. You may have to travel to the other side of the island which will cost you a bit.
Hard to say about Phuket. Some love it, others hate it. If you dont want crowds stay away from Patong. There are beaches in the North that are quieter. Or try Rawai.....It is very easy to get around Phuket.

Im going to thailand for the first time and i have no idea where to stay or go. Im going in July for a week and wanted to go to Phi Phi but i read reviews and they say its overrated and expensive, and i was trying to get some accommodation on the beach (but not the really expensive ones like the holiday inn, etc) but i hear that they are smelly, run down, rude management...... firstly is it worth going to phi phi and in july? secondly can someone recommend a place to stay on phi phi…
