Not sure when you are coming but the ferries are running to mid may at this stage. Like Tessa says the local buses run every hour - last one from Krabi at 5pm. The drive is easy - most of the time is spent crossing the car ferries.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry or get worked up over figuring out exactly where you are going.
Of the two phi phi islands, one is where there is accommodation, the other is where people visit on a day trip... I think that there is camping on the one without accommodation though. Phi Phi has plenty of bars. I believe one of the nicer beaches on phi phi is Long Beach which is an easy long tail boat ride from the town center area. I would check out the "view point" also if you go to phi phi... it…
The travellers' minibuses Krabi to Sok start from their company's depot south of town. But first they send smaller shuttles around to guesthouses and other places in town to collect passengers and take them to the depot. I have been picked up from the Krabi pier after booking with one of the travel desks on arrival from the island (tip - shop around for cheapest price, there are about 4 desks. And you will need an early ferry out of the islands) and no doubt they would call at the bus station if…
Hi,
Bangkok airways have three flights per day from Phuket to Samui, the cheapest is around 2400baht one-way

Look, there will be cabs at the pier. You are looking at say 25 minutes to the airport, maybe a bit less. So normally, no worries.
Small fly in the ointment - sometimes ferries break down, run late.
Your call.
BTW, Krabi town is a nice place to spend the night.

Thanks!
Hello
I am going to be in Koh Phi Phi for a couple of nights from the 13th March. From everything I’ve read the accommodation looks pretty expensive compared to other islands, and I’ve heard that it is hard to find accommodation when you arrive. Can anyway suggest a good budget option and let me know whether it would be best to book ahead?
Thank you.
If the person who saved the young Thai girl who had her face badly gashed on Koh Phi Phi during the tsunami would like to know what happened to her, please send me a private message and I will give you more contact information.
