Hi,
I'm going to be in Krabi after the 21st of October and looking to do some day tours to Phi Phi, Hong islands and other outlying islands. Do you know if longboats or ferries operate from Ao Nang pier to the aforementioned places during late October?
I'm just a little concerned as I heard that many boats don't run during the monsoon season to outlying islands.
Cheers. :)

hostels in Railay Beach
I think not. According to the internet map there's one on the next beach ( forget the name ) along. It also has cheap huts ( or used to anyway ).
Can walk to Railay west from there.
Can't "book" Thai ferries ( except Lomprayah ) from overseas. See any travel agent when you get there.
Hello,
We'll be staying at one of the resorts (not in Tonsai Village) on Koh Phi Phi and have two flight options:
11:30 AM or 8:30 PM out of Krabi airport
From what I've read, it seems difficult (impossible?) or at least stressful to get from the resort to Tonsai for the ferry to Krabi to the airport in time for an 11:30 AM flight, but I was just wondering if anyone can confirm this?
I'm guessing it would be possible to arrange a private ferry option through the hotel, but I'm guessing that…
I need a bit of advice on my up coming Thailand trip. I'm going to Koh Samui on 9th Nov 2012 for a couple of weeks but I had originally planned to come with the g/f. She can't afford it so I'm going solo now, not a problem though. I'm going to chill out, meet some cool peeps, explore, sunbath, swim, eat, drink, do a thai cooking class and also my Open Water diving certificate.
I was thinking 3/4 days in Koh Samui before heading over to Koh Tao to dive. However because it's monsoon season, I'm…
Hey! I wont be staying there until November! Will feedback thereafter though!
