Anyone know if there are any kayaking/canoeing daytrips from phuket or Phi Phi?

- Patong is more tourist than Kata and Karon. Patong is good for nightlife. These 3 beachs are close together so if you stay in Kata or Karon, you still can come to Patong and enjoy the night. Kata and Karon has more beautiful beach than Patong.
- Just take a look at www.hotelphuketthailand.net for hotels in Phuket, I am sure you will find one. Make sure you read the guest review.
- I never stay over in Phi Phi. Only visit Phi Phi for day tour.

Speed boat means you spend more time at the destination but can be very uncomfortable. I have done more boat rides around Ko Chang, Maak, Kood, Wai but I have been on a few speedboats, Phuket to Phi Phi/Krabi and a slow boat Phuket to Phang Nga bay (Siam Sea Canoe). The last one much more pleasant than the speed boat. Speed is ok for short distances but can be grueling on the long haul.

Yes. Get the Nok Air flight at 07:50 arrive Bangkok (Don Muang) 08:55. Take Nok Ir flight to Krabi at 10:10 arrives Krabi at 11:25. Loads of time

Hi! We stayed at Bay View Last week. Beautiful cabins and our room (309) had a great view too. However, for your honeymoon I would say the new huts at The Beach Resort on Long Beach are the finest. We stayed in their old bungalows, which was ok, but you want to stay in their new, very spacious bungalows, huge balconies and insane views. Sea Blue Guesthouse, in Patong Beach, has rooms with 3&4 beds 900B for 2, 300B each extra person. So the price would be 1200 for 3 of you.

for you first time in Asia, Thailand is definitely the better pick. It's just a lot more user-friendly and with better infrastructure. It's also better value for money.
