Does anyone know if Air Asia fly to Ho Chi Min City from Bangkok. The website only seems to show flights to Hanoi.Ideally I want to fly Ho Chi Min from Bangkok and back out of Hanoi to avoid going back on myself.
Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways have flights but they're in the region of THB9000! Where as a flight with Air Asia is onlyTHB999.
Thanks

Hello Everyone,

Well looks like my past plan was way to full of things to do so we are working on cutting it down........Could someone please suggest a good airline to fly from BKK to Ho Chi Minh City? Also visas for Vietnam? Can they be obtained before we leave the U.S. or should we get them in Bangkok? From what i can see Cambodian visas can be obtained upon entry correct? Any suggestions?......Thank you again ahead of time!.......i wish i had longer but i can only afford to take a month off…

Or just open your wallet and pay for a direct taxi. It's 178km takes 2+ hours and will probably cost around 2000 baht (We got it for 1500 baht but the wife is a good negotiator ;-)

My friend and myself had booked a tour of the Islands at the beginning of the month. Now, we are ready to just get back to Bangkok. We like the city much better. We are offering the last leg of our TAT booked trip during the Full Moon Party (22 January) to the first taker. For two people it includes:
Boat ride from Koh Tao to Koh Pha-ngan
5 night bungalo stay, 19 January - 24 January
I will post the bungalo details later. We are currently on Koh Tao Island. One person has to be male as my name is…

I had to adjust to the high price of used books in Thailand. In Canada you can barely give them away. Unfortunate, vacation time is the only chance I have to read.

I assume the price is dictated by a supply and demand equation so, I just suck it up and pay.

Selection is somewhat limited, Mostly hippie stuff. zen and mopeds, road less traveled, and other ying yang offerings. Have picked up some real gems though, some hadn't even been colored in yet.

Roi Et / Pai

Going to be in Roi Et Jan 5 for a wedding. Have a week before we have to be in Chaing Mai - any recommendations? We thought it might be interesting to go to Pai - any route suggestions? We will have done Bangkok and do not want to do the islands or beaches. Thanks in advance for any help.

We will be traveling July 2017 from Chiang Mai to Pai roundtrip for one night. I have read horrible reviews on the bus (Aya) and minivan service. Also, considered flying Kanair but some sketchy reviews...need to connect to flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket and cannot miss this flight. Would someone offer some suggestions or share their experiences on Aya and Kanair?

In the far north hot and dry but cool at night - how cool would depend on height

Would depend if you feel the cold but a pair of trousers and perhaps a light jumper would be all you need if you are staying in Pai and not treking.
