Hi, are SIM cards easy to get at the airport (Casablanca) and the city? Do foreigners need to register etc or do you just buy and use it.

Any particular providers that you would recommend? I will be in Morocco for about 10 days and travelling in Casablanca - Fez - Volubilis - Marakech. I mostly need data than voice as I mainly need it for Google Maps and email.

I'll be in Marrakech from 9-18th May. My plan was to join a group tour to Erg Chebbi (one of the 2 night/3 day ones) in the middle of this time. But if Festival of the Roses is on that weekend it would be a shame to miss it.

Would the most sensible way to combine them be to take the desert tour on, say, Weds-Fri, but stay on in Ouarzazate and get a taxi to the Festival for a day? I'd rather not book anything in advance as I like to stay flexible (prone to changing my mind).
