....... more information might make for better answers.
It's useful to know when and for how long you'll be in Morocco.?

Tours are usually made-up by a process of consolidation where single, couples or small numbers of tourists are gathered to fill a van or bus, without consideration to age, interests, or compatibility, come one come all and off you go, it could be fun or trying.

Have you considered taking a bus by yourself.? Using Buslines like Superatours or CTM to mention just two, and…

I'll be traveling to Morocco in October and flying in and out of Casablanca. I've been advised to skip Casablanca and, despite what people have said, I thought the city deserved at least 1 night (and maybe 1 1/2 days). I'd like to get tickets INTO the Hassan II mosque. Does this have to be done in advance? How? Since it's a working mosque (like the Blue Mosque in Istanbul) is entry allowed when it's not prayer time? If so, can females also view the lower floor area?

The only other…

Just booked my flights to Morocco in September for 18 days. Arriving in Casablanca and departing from Marrakesh.
Some of my must sees are Chefchaouen, Moulay idriss, Volubillis, a camel trek in the desert. I'm considering renting a car but honestly I'm a little nervous driving it all on my own.So if I were to do some areas by public transport and others with a car which would you suggest? I arrive in Casablanca on a sunday afternoon so will probably spend Monday exploring and head out on…

Hello All - I'm a seasoned solo traveler heading to Casablanca starting Jan 13 202 for 4 nights and then on to Victoria Fall in Zambia for 5 nights.

I will be staying in Casablanca with day trips to Fezz and Tangiers. In Victoria Falls I would love to all much as possible.

I will take some tours from the hotels but I would love to explore on my own when possible.

Any tips or idea's would help as I love learning about the local cultural and cuisine

I doubt very much if there is a bus direct from Fes to Essaouira, it's a very long way and to comply with tachograph regulations there would need to be two drivers which would not be economically viable for the bus company. Your best plan is to take the train from Fes to Marrakesh, then Supratours coach to Essaouira.

You can find the train times here.....

This trek is well described in the Lonely Planet guidebook which includes some accommodation suggestions.

Snow mainly falls in Jan/Feb but it's impossible to predict. Highest point is 3,200m but mostly lower.

You can normally buy a map of the area from the registration desk of Hotel Ali on the south-west edge of Djemaa el Fna in Marrakech.

From Imlil you ascend to the Tizi n'Tamatert from where you look down towards Ouaneskra and your onward route. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z48

Well, it seems I did not plan this quite right. We are getting dropped off from a Sahara trip in Fes, spending 2 nights in Fes, then 2 nights in Chefchaouen, then straight from there back to the Fes airport where we have a one-way flight to Marrakech to continue our trip.

The flight we need to catch in Fes departs at 15:30. We need to leave Chefchaouen that morning to have enough time. The CTM bus does not have an option for this. I found one private taxi but it is 170 Euros. I can't find any…

Two days of Marrakesh was enough for me before I developed a rasping cough, caused by breathing the poisonous exhaust fumes emitted by the antiquated mopeds barging through the narrow Medina streets, so I went to the city bus station ( Gare Routiere) at Bab Doukkala and bought a ticket on the CTM bus to Essaouira where I could enjoy the fresh unpolluted sea air for a full ten days, my lungs were most grateful and the cough soon healed up of its own accord. The atmosphere in the ancient coastal…
