I am a 50 y/o typical western man . Instead of going to a California or Canyon ranch. Friends suggest Thailand. Id prefer Luxury with focus on weight loss, massage, diet etc. Chang Mai area or in the north, preferebly ie. beautifull setting? Id like to go New years next month , I do know its high season. appreciate input, 7/14 day programs?

Hello everyone,
I'll be going through different parts of Thailand a little later this year (for the second time), and the first time, I had a hard time staying healthy and fit. As such, I'd like to get a few days in every week no matter where I'm at to go to a gym if it is possible.
Does anyone have experience in this front? How hard is it to show up to a gym and buy day/week/month passes? Is there any paperwork involved? Any barriers you may have faced? Is equipment decent? are they crowded?
…So I'm sure I'm not the first person to try and beat the system and withdraw lots if currency when I found a free to use cash machine but I now have a large amount of Nepalese rupees which i can't exchange in Thailand. If anyone is in the Bangkok or Chiang Mai area and wants to buy these from me for Thai baht I have just over 11000 rupees which is US $106 or 3500 Thai baht. Willing to sell these for 3000 Thai baht so that is US$90 so a bargain exchange rate!!!
Will swap for a different currency…
