What's happening these days? The sun rises. Some people have breakfast. Then they go to work. Others go surfing or scuba diving.

So then people shouldn’t go to Safaris in general? Or go scuba diving? Or see any animals in the wild? Lots of people want to go see whale sharks I gave an option where it’s ethical. The whale sharks aren’t disturbed or baited. Your argument is baseless. Have a nice day!

Just a few things to suggest-

What are your interest? UNESCO World Heritage Sites? Surfing? Hiking? Scuba? Foodie? Wildlife/Nature? Waterfalls? Volcanoes? Indigenous peoples?

For SE Asia, consider 2-3 weeks in Myanmar if possible, wonderful culture good backpacker scene and a few decades behind the rest of SE Asia...

2 weeks Malaysia? Why?

Do you Scuba Dive? You will be in some excellent areas to scuba dive? Get your PADI Certification in Thailand. Get your Advanced if possible (another 4 day course) as most the best diving in the world is over 60ft/20 meters depth....and then you can Liveboard too remote/protected areas...

Chile/Easter Islands/Peru, just make sure this prime time for the weather to visit-

For South America/Central America, in total, you will be spending a lot of time there on buses and transport, and knowing some Spanish will help a lot, open more doors, and add some security too, as Latin America is the least safe and most issue/crime ridden area in your travels.

Central America-

Not sure what your plans are in El Salvador and Honduras, but most backpackers skip these countries or only hit a venue or two and move on due to safety issues.

Honduras Bay Islands you have Roatan/Utila which sits on the second longest reef in the world and the scuba diving is cheap as anywhere and top not operations/dive shops to boot. In addition, there is Copan Ruins near the Guatemala Border.

Guatemala is really the cultural gem of the region, and 4 weeks there would be ideal.

Costa Rica not cheap, 50% more than Guatemala or Nicaragua, so plan your route accordingly, but many backpackers and nature/adventure seekers come up from Panama Bocas del Toro area, on the caribe side, which is all rain forest and this entire coast is very laid back afro caribe reggea vibe, surrounded by excellent parks in CR, Ganduca will rival Thailands remote islands, and the parks and nature/wildlife in Cahuita, Tortuguero and Sarapiqui will give you a huge areas to explore easily, then move on the Nicaragua...

Mexico is huge. You will have to pick and choose, but might want to consider departing from Cancun to Canada, and just explore the Yucatan areas...

Have fun, sounds like a epic trip.
