Dear Travelers,

has anybody of you been to the islands Paxos or Antipaxos close to Corfu? Are these islands really still unspoiled? We would like to go there in 2 weeks from now.

Hi, in 2008 I visited Santorini and Naxos in first half of SEP. I didn’t book accommodation in advance as I heard you can get good deals from apartment owners as you step off the ferry in shoulder season. This worked out really well – got great apartments (sunny balcony, spacious, great view) for cheap (€30/night).

Is this still the case or have things changed in 10 years? My wife, 14 month baby and I are looking to visit Paros and Antiparos in first half of SEP this year. Approx 4 days on…

Have been reading and searching endlessly for info on these islands, but not sure about where to stay and for how long. We are 2 retired Canadian seniors who are active and avid travellers. We enjoy long casual hikes, walking, biking, swimming etc., stay in moderate, but decent lodgings and enjoy the ambience of the places we visit. We have been to Athens, Santorini and Crete on a previous trip and loved it. We love the "slow travel" way....
