I plan to do a one-month cycling trip in Kyrgyzstan, being Bishkek the starting and final point of the route. I will start on July 14th, and will carry a tent and a stove.

anyone have experience sending a bike by rail from dali or lijiang?

Would like to ask you how many mosquitos are in Nordland-Lofoten in the summer and if there is enought trees to hang a hammock? I'm going to cycle from Tromso to,Trondheim.
I'm thinking to take instead of a tent a hammock b'cos I it is much more confortable and lighter.

I'm planning to bike the Rota Vicentina and parts of Via Algarviana starting next week. I'm biking it one direction and taking the train/bus back to Lisbon where my bike box will be stored. I just realized that it might not be that easy to get my bike on a train or bus without packing it. I will a ride back to Lisbon from Lagos or Tunes. Any suggestions or information about this?

Okay maybe i watch too many road rage incidents on the internet towards cyclist but i have decided i need a camera for my bicycle rides at home here in the U.K........i dont want the camera for touring as i think recharging will be an issue that i could without, so any recommendations for a helmet camera or one on the handlebars ? I am mindful of Michael Schumachers accident which i believe was made worse by a camera mounted on his helmet so that is a concern. Any advice or thoughts ?
