So I'm visiting my dad in France this year (I live in the us). I bought him a bike last year, and this year want to use it for a week-long trip in the Czech Republic.
I will be accompanying the bike by train from southern France to Paris, and Paris to Prague, but coming back I want to send the bike back from Paris to my dad's town in southern France, assembled, without me with it.

I'm thinking about doing a cycle trip through Yucatan and Chiapas in September and October. I have a few concerns: How safe is cycling going to be? Worry about bandidos. Would it be safe to camp out? What about the weather? I know it's the rainy season out there at that time. How much would this affect the trip? I've been planning a cycle trip from Budapest to Stockholm starting Aug 1st and had planned to cycle up along the Elbe river from Prague as far as Hamburg.

I am a female cyclist wanting to cycle Africa nearing the end of the year. I am 43, have lived a nomadic lifestyle since 2004. I have done alot of traveling alone in those years. I am planning a trip from London to Paris, then through France and, possibly a little visit to Italy. I would love a companion for all or even a part of the trip.
Dates: approximately 20 May 2014 - 20 August 2014. I am hoping to take a budget friendly approach to accommodations. I plan to use the extra money to eat and visit museums and other cultural sites, but I don't think that we would need to do the same things all the time.

On Tripsite,com they are offering this tour, where the second person pays ½ price, when we split the difference (prices start at this rate but the travel agent on site is checking to see the availability and looking to leave Aug. 11) 499 EUROS vs. 645 per person and INCLUDES the lodgings (on a barge-2 to a room) food, and support van if you are too tired to bike. There are bus tours and other extras included and the ride is considered easy. Is eight days.

I am close to my Half century and at this age I got Interest to Travel via Cycle, I do not have any experience of Long distance cycling. Now I want to Travel on cycle from Milan (Italy) - Venice - Trieste - Split and Sarajevo. I would like to know How many days it will take ? Is the route Good for Cycle ?? Is there any danger for Camping through out the route?
