41-year-old male cyclist doing what looks like a solo trip in early June to northwest Spain.
Are any cyclists going to be touring in the same area at the same time?
I usually do hotel accomodations, but am thinking of mixing in some camping on this one.
I'm in Southern California.
Am also looking at using Qatar from Europe to India middle of this year
It states that am allowed 30KG checked baggage in Economy.
Does that mean only 1 bag or can it be 2 bags at a total of 30KG??

I am currently in Sen Monorum (Mondulkiri), enjoying g a few hills and the small remnants of forest which haven't been cleared yet. Certainly makes a change from endless dry brown padi fields across much of Cambodia.
I am just starting to explore this topic and I have some questions. I enjoy biking on dedicated bike routes where possible not on the shoulders of roads. I am looking at a trip of about a week. The Jura route in Switzerland looks really good for a short trip does anyone know if this is primarily on auto roads. Are there dedicated bikes paths in the Dordogne?

me and my girlfriend are thinking of cycling in Greece for 2 weeks at the beginning of May. at the beginning we thought of going to Crete but now we are more interested in mainland Greece. we would love recommendations as for nice routes and beautiful areas on the mainland that are good for cycling - quite roads, not really mountains (Although no problem if there some hills and mountains - we are quite fit), nice local people and food. My husband and I are celebrating one year of marriage this summer and planning to spend one week of that time cycling, either in Italy or Croatia. The other week we plan to spend luxuriating in the sun somewhere quiet and beautiful. We do not have flexibility on dates, so will be vacationing during what we know is a busy time (last week in July, first week August). We both love to be active, love delicious food, and like the quieter, peaceful places.
