I touring the Philippines by bike & will include Boracay. I always take my bike with me, but would it be more practical to store it (if I can find somewhere)at Catican, or is the island big enough to cycle around?

Also what's Catican like? As Borocay is so expensive & I will only getting to Catican after lunch, I'm thinking on spending a night there & making an early star to Boracay next morning.

It may be a bit of a hassle and require extra tipping getting on and off the boats at Borocay. Borocay would be pretty good with a mountain bike. Many places rent bikes to foreigners so you would be more the norm than anything else. It would also be convenient.

The island is big enough to cycle around but it would be a short trip. Caticlan is a dusty, noisy town that exists because it is the town closest to Boracay. You could stay there for a night, but there are no redeeming qualities to speak of. PM if you have any questions about the Philippines. Ingat Ka.
