Hi,
I've been looking back at some of the posts I've done and have come to realise that most of them are rude, unhelpful, or just plain pointless. You had a good honest branch until I came and messed things up for you, so I want to offer you the chance to decide my fate:
Am I worth keeping for the wacky, sometimes amusing posts, and the occasional bit of bike-related advice?
Or have I just gone one step too far - do you want me out?
I hereby promise unto you that I will abide by the majority verdict of the vote, on the condition that each member casts only one vote, and that votes are limited to users that have been members of TT for at least one month.
So, you decide - stay, or go?
!!VOTE NOW!!

Didn't you already decide never to post again a little while back? I for one find some of your posts amusing, but I though the whole pretending to be on a tour through Africa a little silly. Why not quit the boring job (something I intend to do soon) and go off on tour, it'd probably be a lot more enjoyable than winding people up on the net. This is what I am going to do - overland from London to India. The forum just serves to fuel the planning a little, it whiles away the hours.

Of course I'm planning a tour, and have no intention of staying in this job much longer. This forum, my wild fantacies, and my crazy ideas serve to keep my dream alive whilst I wait for certain things (i.e. money) to come together before I can head off. If I don't vent my frustrations somehow then I might have a nervous-breakdown and never be able to make the tour. And believe me, once I get touring, I have no intention of returning anytime soon.
So, my vote: GO

you flatter yourself Striker.
As to whether you go or stay: I find myself overwhelmed by my apathy.
But I would like to know whether you solved the problem of your sliding off the front of your saddle? Did you take my advice?

Betty, I can't remember what you said I should do. i know you said to roughen up my underside, but did you mean with a liquid sand-paper, or just some standard qet-n-dry.
No Betty, you scratch mine.
Your nearest and dearest, wondering if those who 'don't care' about me will help to make this yet another 300+ post.

You said it, so take the consequence.
I couldn't care less whether you stay or go.
Why do you think you are so important that you can set rules and make people vote for or against you.
Go cycling !!!

a sympathy vote, or someone so egotistical that they just feel the need to wind people up for their own amusement, even in the falsified deathrows of their last possible post the theme continues. Personally your previous posts self serve the mediocrity, some are amusing, others just plainly piss people off....presumambly for your amusement whilst your kill time until you yourself are dead. Mind you...everyone has a choice to respond or not...so the choice is yours, not ours.

Same, don't go egotistical. The thread did quite well before you appeared. Was not just hanging on waiting for your appearance.
There's humor and there's sick. Not all here are humorless.
This branch is what it is, what the subscribers have made it over the years. Assumably as they like it.
As above, everyone has a choice to subscribe, (ok, so in your case it's been taken away a few times). Your choice.
I'll go as pbekkerh posted.

I rarely log in on this forum. I find that I don't have near enough adivse to give as others and simply enjoy reading the posts, searching for content and so on and so forth. It would be my hypothisis that there are many out there like me. I only log on when I need to ask a Q or I feel I have some very good info to share with someone who is searching for it. Through this post I am doing neither, but I feel the need to write it none the less. When i come to this forum, almost daily, I have the ability to skip over your posts or read them at will. You being here matters not at all to my day or my reading. I feel bad for the people that get so upset with you and your posts because it is in there control, just as you reading this and your reaction to me is in your control. But more so I feel bad for you because you think you realy matter to them, us, this forum. If you didn't why would need you need to continue with posts to recieve feedback and reactions the way you do? Do as you please, i will continue to skip or read your posts in the future, just as i have in the past. Hope you can find your way away from the computer and to the road one day.

What? We are only allowed one pseudonym each and you can have multiple personalities? Personally I don't mind either way, yet not unlike Lloyd feel the need to type nevertheless. I thought the Borat ripoff was a bit lame but found the cyclist looking for sex discussion quite interesting until it, rather unrightly in my opinion, got labelled a troll. You seem to have gotten yourself labelled as a troll. I won't argue who threw the first punch in the whole africa on a dollar a day fiasco or that it matters at all. It just seems that further threads have only added the proverbial fuel to the fire. It seems that you now appear to be a part of the wallpaper and for better or worse a part of the on your bike thorntree community. It may help to consider yourself the cyber equivalent of the town drunk. You've already given yourself your own and apparent veto vote. I'm sure you'll be back. It must be an addiction by now.
