Just wanted to mention, after much effort, I finally got around to finishing off my web-journal - covering an eight day motorcycle ride from Hanoi to Sapa via the northwest.
I have had a really suprising amount of positive feedback, thanks to those that did so. The journal is recent, and so a realistic reflection of the trip as it is today - though of course, seen through my eyes. On the final day (8) there is a breakdown of costs in US$, which again is current. May be useful to someone thinking of doing the same trip.
