I have aquired an old bike, but not sure its what it says on the label;
The stickers say Dawes Galaxy and the seatube sticker says 531 Respray, its old, chromed ends on fork blades,
27 inch wheels, 10 speed, and here is where the doubt creeps in only one set bottle bosses, did the early ones come with just the one bottle mount?
Advice please.

| pq04:15 UTC09 Apr 2007 | It's likely to be an old galaxy, but does it really matter? They're OK but nothing special.
If you want to know for sure, try emailing Dawes with the frame number.
Also some Dawes frames have sundt engraving and raised lettering spelling out Dawes - if you can find anything like that it confirms the make if not the model.
