A friend who is currently in Australia has decided to make me even more jealous of his trip by asking me to do a bit of research about cycling trips on his behalf.
He's looking for some sort of tour, at least a couple of weeks in length, starting any time in the next 8 weeks "in Perth or anywhere north of that". Only requirement is that he has to be in Darwin by 20 July. I've done trips like this in Cuba and Vietnam through companies like Exodus and Explore, but they don't run anything in Australia. I've had a look at a few sites and ROC seem to be the most promising but they are already booked up til September.
Does anyone have any advice about Australian cycle tour companies or web resources?

(answer already posted on Australia branch) Try contacting ROCtours anyway - they will know of any other tour company in Perth.

I don't know about 'couple of weeks' tours. But me and my partner rode the Munda Biddi trail from Mundaring (North of Perth) to Colie (near Bunbury). It's an off-road trail built specifically for cyclists (probably to keep us off the Bibbulmun Trail). There is no real need in doing it as a tour if he has a bike (set up). If he doesn't, there are self-guilded tours with support team. Several companies offering it: Munda Biddi Tour Operators.
Hope it helps.
