Accommodation in Xaihe and Songpan (Jul-Aug 2015)

I am cycling solo from Xining to Chengdu in July-August 2015.

Other than multi-day stops at Xaihe and Songpan I'll just wing it and find o/night accommodation at end of each riding day.

Could anyone who has been to Xaihe and Songpan provide a recommendation for inexpensive but reasonably decent accommodation in either place. Not looking for luxury, but would like WiFi and breakfast if possible.

Noting that accommodation at Xining (Lete Hstel) and Chengdu (Hello Chengdu Int Hostel) are in place, any additional advice on accommodation at other places en-route would also be welcome.
