Just wanted to let all my fellow Canadian bike tourers out know about a brand new Canadian charity dedicated to using bicycle touring as a means to raise money and awareness for humanitarian causes. It's called 2Wheels 1World, and if you want to do a ride to benefit a cause of your choice, you can contact them and they'll set you up with pledge sheets and work at getting exposure for your ride. Right now they're gearing up for a big (3,000 km+) ride through Africa to raise money for AIDS, and they're looking for volunteers to help out with it.
