Hi,
52 year old Canadian male travelling to North East India at the end of Oct looking for male/female travelling companion. Planning on going to Darjeeling and Sikkim to do some trekking, then to far eastern India, maybe Bangladesh for a few weeks.
Hi,
I've recently updated my website with my various travel reports
Norway - Just spent 3 weeks there, to get my youngest brother married
Jordan - a current blog, since that's where I am now for 7 weeks; see

And for those of you that missed them earlier, these are still up there:
Turkey - I spent last September in Turkey
Chile - I spent 3 months last winter in Argentina & Chile
Also:

Hi all,
We are an older couple, from Oz, and have booked flights to London next March, buying a van there, and just travel through the continent to ....maybe Turkey... just stopping and staying where and when we feel inclined, no set itinerary. We understand all the stuff about insurance, driving through other countries, etc. Has anyone done this?, any tips on things like staying in the van overnight in obscure places?
Or any hints or tips in general?
thanks
Sorry if this has been asked previously however a friend of mine is going to south east Asia for about 6 months and he will turn 65 while he is there. I have searched several UK insurance companies and just cant find anything - all suggestions welcomed! Thanks
My wife and I are CDN retirees who are experienced travellors. This Fall we are travelling to Hong Kong for about a month to visit our daughter and family who have recently moved there. What do we need to know about getting started ie. visa's? We are very outdoors people so we want to try and do some hiking and trekking while we are there. What advice can you give as to how to do this as we like to think of ourselves as travellors not tourists? At the same time we realize that there are some…
Does anyone out there have any first hand experience of holidays/expeditions offered by this company? see www.earthwatch.org
I have an interest in history but no practical experience of working in archaeology. The prices seem high but I understand that I would also be making a financial contribution to their projects - any observations?
Peachfront, we trust that you and yours have managed to get away from New Orleans safely and that you will not suffer loss or damage of any kind. The same goes for any others on this branch who may live in that part of the world.
I am driving my Campervan from Bournmouth to Paphos on the 22nd Sept ....anyone fancy sharing the driving ? Or Navigating the last 1.000 miles with me Bulgaria - Turkey ?

Having got some good, but budget breaking!!!!!!!!!! advice on the Galapagos I am now testing your knowledge on lodges and boats in the Amazon suitable for an older person who wants to see nature and amazon culture but not with jungle bashing.
I am planning my trip to South America next year and the more I read the more I want to see. I plan to be there a few months as it is a long trip from Oz. I have already identified the Iguassu Falls, Easter Island. The Galapagos and Machu Picchu as must sees. What else would you put on the list? I am interested in people. animals, scenery and culture.
