Hello!
Back in Aug. I wrote something about going across the USA. My plans got side- tracked because of a hernia repair surgery and other things that got in the way. I am much better. I wanted to apologize to all that posted on my page. I couldn't get back to this project i was planning. My plans for a trip across the USA is still on, I think sometime in April or May 2011.
Thank you! :)

While the South are desperately trying to gather their antagonistic tribal regions into a cohesive force for the duration of the referendum (they can go back to their neighbourly conflicts after the newest nation of Africa is established) The Head Pig has told the opposition vultures to go and “lick your elbow”, presumably his way of saying”kiss my ass”, in reference to their demands for power?

The SPLM have,for the…

Hello - I'm giving some thought to visiting Morocco in a few months for a few days. Tangier, Marrakesh and Casablanca are tentative stopping points - by way of southern Europe. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and would depart from SFO.

It seems that both Portugal and southern Spain are likely air terminals with surface transportation (car? train? and eventually ferry) to Morocco.

My health is very good; meds keep a mild heart condition under control. Seeing the sights is primarily what…

Following the Christmas battle in which Darfur rebels inflicted a telling blow on North Sudanese military forces, the government are back at the negotiation table. But are they mobilizing heavy armour on the quiet?

Pressure increases from all sides. The Egyptian press are blaming Bashir for the secession probability, Uganda have stated they will side with the South if there is any hanky panky in the vote and America has stressed the importance of voting day being trouble-free. In Juba the…

Hello!

It only seem like yesterday when I took off for my trip to Malaysia in September. Well! I am ready to set off again, thankfully this time with hubby in tow.

Thinking of visiting Hanoi in early Feb 2011 with hubby. I read that the weather is cool to cold during this time of the year. We are thinking of flying to Hanoi, stay there for a few days to visit the sights, travel down to HCMC which will be our point of departure for KL.

Are there any places along the way that we need to factor…
